20 Light Northern California Indoor Hydro Grow
Witnessed here is a 20 light hydroponic grow set in Lake County California. It uses traditional 8×4 plastic hydro tables on a standard “ebb and flow” or “flood to fill system”.
Throughout the vegetative cycle the table is flooded up to four times per day where the nutrient-laden water, from the reservoir underneath of the table is pumped up and fills the table with the solution for about 8 minutes.
The water then gravity drains back down into the 110 gallon reservoir after the plants have slurped all they can slurp in that time period.
The growing media utilized here is a blend containing 75% perlite, 25% shredded coconut husk.
As plants get deeper into the flower cycle the amount of waterings per day is optimally cut back from 4 to 3 to 2 and 1 at harvest time as plants drink less towards the end of their flowering cycle.
Parts Per Million fertilizer is typically kept at around 700 during veg and around 1400 for flower.
PH, which is very important element to observe when growing hydro, is typically maintained between 5.8 and 6.3.
